    Consultation on the East Hampshire Draft Local Plan 2021-2040 - a document which includes proposed development sites for new homes and other uses in the Council's planning area.

  • Reviewing responses made during the East Hampshire Draft Local Plan consultation

    The Planning Policy team is currently reviewing all responses made to the East Hampshire Draft Local Plan consultation. Suggested amendments and/or requirements for further evidence will be considered and where appropriate noted in the final version of the plan.

  • Call for brownfield sites

    June 2024

    Many responses to the East Hampshire Draft Local Plan urged the Council to ensure that every opportunity is taken to identify brownfield land for development. The Council is now undertaking a Call for Brownfield Sites to investigate all development opportunities at this stage of the plan making process, in conjunction with calling for land for Traveller and Travelling Showpeople accommodation and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).
